Customer Service Enthusiast
I’m Debz, I live in Hampshire and I love customer service. I know that might sound odd to some people, but being involved in someone’s customer service journey is great & ensuring their journey is as smooth as possible is something I am really passionate about!
I’m Debz and I have been involved in customer service throughout most of us working life. This has been across several industries including property and communications. Alongside this, I have always loved writing and being social on the internet, so I started a personal blog back in 2013.
I was made redundant from a job I loved in August 2019 and so I decided it was time for a change. I had recently relocated to Hampshire and thought I would try to make a career out of something I enjoyed. It was in early 2020 that I started to think about might be next for me and what project I could get my teeth in to.
From there came my business, and so far I am loving it!
What is Get Virtual Assistance?
As the name suggests, I offer virtual assistant services. I work for some clients long term and others just on an adhoc basis. For businesses, the beauty of a virtual assistant like me is that there is no set salary to pay. Instead they simply tell me what tasks they need me to do each month and only pay for the work I do.
I offer a number of services and can generally take care of most admin type things a business needs. This can be contacting customers, replying to emails or jumping on Live Chat to answer queries. Alongside this I offer social media posts, blog posts, SEO advice and web content writing.
It’s great, because I have been able to combine all the things I enjoy when it comes to work and make them my whole working day. I also get the benefits of working from home, choosing my own hours and being my own boss – Cheers to that!
What’s Next?
To be honest with you, perhaps for my sins, I am an in the moment person. Currently I am really enjoying what I do and the flexibility this has given me. Would I like Get Virtual Assistance to be expanded in the future? Of course, who wouldn’t? Have I planned for this and know how that will happen? Absolutely not!
2020 has been a strange year and I feel like that amongst a global pandemic I have been able to launch my own business and keep it ticking over for over 10 months. Anything that happens beyond that is simply a bonus and something to look forward to!
Keep in Touch
I would love to keep in touch with anyone who has an interest in what I do, or simply feels like having a nosey
