School for Social Entrepreneurs - East

The School for Social Entrepreneurs - East covers Suffolk, Norfolk, Cambridgeshire and Essex.  We deliver a wide range of different learning programmes to help budding social entrepreneurs establish a successful social enterprise business.

We run a year-long Fellowship programme covering all the business skills you will need to set up a social business, combined with visits to successfully established social enterprises.  We work with some of the UK's most inspirational social entrepreneurs who share their knowledge, passion and experience with our students.

We are also part of the national network delivering the Lloyds Banking Group Social Entrepreneurs Programme.

People learn best through doing. That's why our programmes are action-focused, giving our students the experiences, skills and the little black book of contacts that they need to develop as successful social entrepreneurs.

Our courses aren't traditional or academic - there are no text books or formal lectures. What we do give our students is exposure to experienced social entrepreneurs, influential business leaders to impart a wealth of real life business experience and a wide range of experts in key business disciplines, all of who are committed to helping students succeed in their venture.

The experiences we offer our students are extremely varied; one week our students might be listening to a successful social entrepreneur talking about their 'warts and all' journey, and the next they might be pitching their ventures to potential funders.

School for Social Entrepreneurs - East has pioneered a number of specialist courses in response to the significant market changes in public sector service delivery, with learning programmes especially designed for public sector Commissioners and an Accelerated Learning Programme for public sector leaders responsible for taking out services.

We are proud to be part of the wider School for Social Entrepreneurs network and work closely with partners across the UK and abroad.  Find our more about the School for Social Entrepreneurs.   If you would like to become one of our students or find out more about what we do call us on 01473 527100.  We are recruiting for students now.
