The Inspiring Enterprise Programme Kicks Off The New Year

The Eastern Enterprise Hub and the Essex County Council brought together a group of enthusiastic Essex-based entrepreneurs this week for the first session of the free-start-up course “Inspiring Enterprise Programme”. Created to enable entrepreneurs to develop everything they need to know about running their own enterprise and monetise their ideas.

As well as receiving expert business advice throughout the course, the students will also be able to pitch for cash prizes (up to £2,000) to further develop their enterprise idea.

Joining us on the day, were a host of entrepreneurs including Lizzie Cheeld, who has founded Burlesque Jems LTD, Billy Haynes the founder of Miru 3D, Liz Quinn the brains behind a Nutritiously You and Jemma Bowden who is starting The Training Revolution.

The course is now currently on it’s second run and is fully sponsored by the Essex Innovation Programme (EIP), a no fee programme which is run by Essex County Council, helping companies; small to medium, start-up and established, to develop and exploit their creative and innovative commercial development ideas.

The “Inspiring Enterprise Programme” is an engaging and dynamic course that enables start-ups to really delve into their business ideas and grow their business networks. The first session of 2017 saw the students gather for introductions and building their elevator pitches.

Heidi Love, the programme’s manager says:

“It was really exciting to start the new Inspiring Enterprise group on Tuesday. The first sessions very positive, and there are some great and innovative new ideas and businesses which I am looking forward to working with.”
