About the School for Social Entrepreneurs East (SSE East)

At SSE East we empower people from all backgrounds to create positive social change. Our courses help individuals start, sustain and scale social enterprises. We'll help you build confidence and gain practical business skills in technical areas such as marketing and finance. 

Based at the Eastern Enterprise Hub, we are 1 of 12 SSE schools across the UK.

Our Students

There is no typical student at the School of Social Entrepreneurs East. The people who attend our courses have ranged in age from 17 - 74 and come from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds. We believe that YOUR passion for change is what matters most, not where you come from. 

The School

The School for Social Entrepreneurs is not a typical school - there are no exams, no qualifications, no academic results. Our programmes are based on action learning - so the entrepreneurs can learn best by doing, from their peers and practitioners in the field.
